My Best Road Trip Ever I usually go on many road trips in Egypt, so my sister and I have decided that we should have a longer road tip, and we should have many stops in the middle, and visit each city we pass by I decided our trip should be from Cairo to Halfa which is in Sudan.
My sister and I left the house at 7:30 am so we don’t arrive at Halfa really late. I took a bottle of water and a bag of chips just incase if I get thirsty or hungry. I told my driver on the way to stop by the pyramids. I was glad that the weather today was not or else we would be like fried chickens under the sun. We stayed at the pyramids for 30 minutes. I kept wondering how the ancient Egyptians built the pyramids and how they got the last stone up there without any machines. The Pyramids would me called a triangular pyramid (if you want to say it in mathematical words). It has four triangular faces and its base is a square shape. I told my sister that we had to go for a tour in Luxor. I hadn’t been there before; everybody says that it is so cool. The tour took us about four hours. We saw many temples and statues. Most of the statues and temples were made out of mud, but some were made out of stone. Then we went to have lunch. My favorite food is called molokheya. In Egypt molokheya is made in different way than any other countries in the world. We usually eat it with Egyptian bread. It looks like a green soup. It’s hard to describe what it tastes like because it doesn’t taste like anything in the world. Aswan was two hours away from Luxor, so I said that we should have a small tour there. It was similar to Luxor. They both had statues and temples. We went touring for an hour and a half my sister and I felt a little hungry, so we decided to have a snack before we left. I ate a chocolate ball so I could get some energy. The chocolate ball is a sphere shape chocolate and is covered with chocolate chip. That was the last stop in Egypt and our final destination would be in Halfa, which is in the north of Sudan. It is a port on the Nile. There are a lot of traders that trade stuff there. It is also less humid than Egypt. We stayed at a hotel called Tayba for a night and the next day we went back all the way to Cairo.
That was a long and tiring road trip, but it was a splendid trip. We visited many places. First, we visited the Great Pyramids, after that we went to Luxor. There we visited some temples. Later on we went to Aswan. We saw many statues there. Then lastly our final destination was Halfa in Sudan. I really recommend you try that road trip.
